AURETH101- Depower and Reinitialise Battery Electric Vehicles
COURSE OUTLINE
This unit covers the skills and knowledge required to safely depower and reinitialise battery electric vehicles (BEVs).
It includes ensuring that the vehicle’s high-voltage (HV) rechargeable energy storage system (RESS) is fully isolated before carrying out any service or repair work.
The unit also addresses the calibration and resetting of vehicle systems that may be affected once the energy storage system has been reinitialised. Emphasis is placed on following correct RESS and separated extra low voltage (SELV) electrical safety procedures.
This unit is relevant to individuals working in the automotive service and repair industry.

On completion of the course, participants will be awarded Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency achieved.

Days: 1 day duration.
This course is held on days between Monday – Friday, delivered at My Trade Start Training Centre.
